Brookwood families, students, and employees went to the past to learn about Afro-Americans who made great contributions to medicine, science, art, sports, and joy. We were amazed at the expressiveness of the students' doodles and demonstrations depicting America's magnificent African-Americans. Paired with the wax museum were figures that certified "Taste of the Soul" - a test of second-foot food made with love and tremendous flavor. Fried chicken, ribs, pasta, cheese, delicious potatoes, herbs, cornbread, and happy lemonade were on offer! What a great day it was as a Brookwood trough! Thank you to Mrs. Leah Connector and Mr. Martin Garay for mentoring Brookwood's third graders. Here are some great photos of Sujonar Trout, Boker T.
