Level 6-7

Route 207 is the best place to be at this point, especially in Platinum (in all versions, you need to train there during the day, and if it happens to be a pile of Phantoms, you're very, very lucky). But there are a lot of Machops and Geodudes (well, Kricketots in the morning, Kricketots and Zubats at night, and Ponytas especially in the morning and afternoon in Platinum), so I'm not sure if it will suit your Pokemon. Level 8-9

This is where D/P players go to Valley Windworks or Route 205 Florooma side. Both are pretty similar, but Valley Windworks is lower level and has more Pachirisu. In Platinum, Eterna Forest EXP is very similar no matter what time of day you play, and is always slightly higher than the alternatives (Valley Wind Farm and Route 205 Floroma side). Unusually, don't stress on Pokemon games that do anything to modify the GBA slot. In Eterna Forest, you're actually lowering your average experience by replacing the fairly lucrative Buneary and Gastly with things like Seedot and Caterpie. The levels in Eterna Forest are a little higher than in D/P, but if they're too high for your Pokemon, you might want to consider Windworks Valley/Route 205 Floromacide Valley for now.

In D/P, Route 206 is a sure bet, especially during the day. It's full of Ponyta and Cricketoons, which give you a ridiculous amount of EXP. You'll also find Machop, Geodude, Zubat, Meditite, Chinook, and the occasional Cleffa.

If you get Platinum, you might be able to train in the Old Castle. There's a Pokemon toy in the GBA slot, which gives you a small chance of getting Gengar. Other places don't even compare, but the Route 211 section of Mount Coronet is a great alternative if you can't handle the ridiculousness, especially during the day, as long as you have Zubat. If that doesn't work, Route 211 Eterna City side has fewer Bronzors and no Geodesics or Noddles, but still has Meditite, Mahop, and Chinook. Level 16-17

In D/P, I recommend Trophy Garden at night. There is no real competition for this level. If not, you can always stay on Route 206.

In Platinum, on the other hand, the low level part of the cave (before you go through the first pillar) reigns supreme, especially if you have Ruby or Sapphire in your GBA slot and it's night. But if the Pokemon there don't suit your Pokemon, Route 206 is still a perfectly acceptable option, especially during the day.

Level 18-20

My favorite route: Route 210 Solace Townside. In D/P, I take the train at night, but in Platinum, morning (preferably) or day (if the ascent and descent is slow)? You don't have Ruby or Emerald in your GBA slot. If you don't like the pokemon there, you can use Route 212 at night in D/P (Pastria City side) or Route 209 in Platinum (morning or day), but you get less exp.

Level 21-22

In D/P, either Route 215 with Ponyta, Geodude, Abra, Kadabra, and Cricketune, or Valor Lakefront with Girafarig, Geodude, Staravia, Graveler, Viper, and Cricketune. Both have the best experience at night. Valor Lakefront gives you a bit more, but not much. In Pearl, using a Pokeleader on Route 215 will give you Houndoom, which gives you more exp. It's not worth doing the same in Diamond.

For now, trophy garden is a better option than Route 209.

Level 23-25

D/P is Route 214. Especially in pearls, the experience gained is not odd. There are Ponita, Geo Dude, Grabeller, Girafarig, Cricketune, and depending on the version.
