Suddenly, spam or phishing emails increased significantly since last week. Are other people aware of the same thing?
For example, a repeated message arrives to check the horoscope of the day from where it seems to specialize in astrology. I have never visited astrology sites, and astrology is not one of my superstitions.
(I know the standard and probably the correct answer to my question: "Why? The standard, probably the correct answer to my question is" because your e-mail is collected and sold).
Looking at these emails in the review group, I have nothing to do with me, or from a stranger email address that seems to be relevant. Some enter the "spam mail" folder. I delete all of them in a few seconds to see what appears on the bulletin board. (In the case of a weird address, delete it completely without even seeing it). Then, when the mail is deleted from the "Ju n-mail" or "Reception Tray" folder, the contents of the "deleted" folder are deleted. (By the way, my ISP is Verizon's AOL, and I'm receiving e-mails using Mac (in my case Mojave) native email client "Mail".)
Is this happening to others, or what happens to me alone?

I think the domain registration email address is needed to be published, and it has increased by about 1000 % in a few days. In your case, the ISP filtering may have failed. Most servers bounce a really bad spam before hitting the client's spam settings. Also, your account spam settings may be reset by updating or something. I've seen it before. They may want to record complaints and see what they have to say. I pray for good luck!

According to Celooafoofbeyond The Blue Verizon, if you return to the paid gold "Membership", you will be able to refuse spam on the reception tray silently. I have already paid a phone call to the consortium and have been paid for many years to AOL using the email address. I just empty it once and proceed to the next ...

Ask Woody Plus October 20, 2020 11:29 PM. #2305885OSCARCP, (1) Whether your email account was directly infringed by Verizon, or (2) If an address has been obtained from an account on another site that taught the address at the time of registration, the spam suddenly increased for other reasons. The most likely explanation I can think of is (3) visiting a shady site. I'm not sure about the mechanism where this happens, but when I visited a shady site (one of which is one of them) from some people, I suddenly attacked SPAM. I've heard that we started.

My biggest concern is that I may not be properly handling these spam emails (the way I explained at the top of this thread), and that even though I'm really quick to look at the email, decide it's probably spam, and delete it, malware brought by one of them may get through. But a few seconds is thousands of years for a computer....I remember reading somewhere recently that even just displaying an email with a shaded preview window can reveal alignment to the recipient. I believe the solution to this is to disable HTML in the email and display only plain text. For those who suddenly started receiving spam after visiting adult sites, the spam torrent lasted for a few months, then tapered off to a week or two. Then, after they returned to the site, the spam increased again. (They claimed it was an "experiment" to make sure the site in question was really the source of the problem.)
Asuku Woody Lauunger Cybertooth: Thanks. As for my "experiment" with visiting "adult sites," let me say this! The idea of disabling HTML in the preview window sounds like a good one, assuming I can find a way to do it in my Mac's email client, but okay, there's something worth "experimenting" with!(I know the standard and probably the correct answer to my question: "Why? The standard, probably the correct answer to my question is" because your e-mail is collected and sold).

Ask Woody Plus But no problem has occurred before that. It's not that long, at least last year? And there have been many such years ... but the degree of seriousness varies. And in fact, I don't think S/MIME was completely patched ...? This is because it is necessary to refuse valid emails in certain situations or deviate from the specifications of S/MIME. And there is a large organization that requires S/MIME.

Asuku Woody Lauunger That is the direct reason for increasing spam. Avoiding the acquisition of an email address is not to teach others and is counterproductive. Putting your address and phone number on another person's contact list means that you may be extracted from it. And many emails and other types of social media apps seem to leak them all over. (Spam SMS arrives to the number that only teaches the child teacher)1 User thanked the author for this post.

Ask Woody Plus "Avoiding the acquisition of an email address is not to teach others, and it is counterproductive." I'm sorry. Ten years ago, I stopped interacting with the Internet or email at all. In particular, I cut off the connection with those who thought BCC was meaningless and stupid. Two months ago, my niece and my husband visited every month. We talked and agreed to exchange emails. We exchanged emails and spam waves rushed. It's redundant! I retired 10 years ago, and as I imagined, I significantly reduced the number of contacts by email. In fact, I don't know what "Brian" is in contact with, and I haven't been CCD for anything, but it's virtually connected with all the people who have been connected for more than 20 years. I know you are. Cheers Princess Moderator Note: edited for content. If you are not in a hurry, please wait.2 Users Thank the author for this post.

The next day, spam has been flooded, and it has been going on since then. I have deleted it, but I receive a new email every day. My advice is not to teach Wa l-Mart's email address.

Ask Woody Plus Alex, how about giving general emails and browsing unless you send it to a single destination or link to a specific site?- Asuku Woody Lounge

- In fact, IP and email are very gentle. If the automatic tracking of the external link in the email (also known as the "Remote Content Display") is properly disabled, it will not be found in a normal URL tracker. Also, at least some of the "preview" attacks in the past would be exempted, but not all ... And if you have a connecting system, doing this will reduce the price. Still, at least I haven't paid a fixed IP by connecting a broadband. So whatever the IP I have today may be for another customer of the same ISP tomorrow. Or maybe a few hours later.
